国際英語学科は小じんまりした学科なので、いつもとてもアットホームです。学生さんは、空き時間や質問がある時、先生たちの研究室に立ち寄ってくれます。

Let’s meet the teachers!　今日は、Ayed先生を紹介します。

Name: Ayed Hasian

Background: I was born in the U.S., and my parents are from Palestine, so I grew up speaking English and Arabic at home. Also, I have lived in Japan for 14 years, so I can speak Japanese too. I started studying Japanese because I enjoyed playing Japanese video games when I was younger, but I also learned a lot listening to Japanese music!

Fun fact: I love computers, and one of my hobbies is editing pictures and videos. I even started a YouTube channel for learning English! It’s called “A Slice of English”.

Classes: I mostly teach English writing and listening classes. I love teaching these classes because I enjoy my students’ creative ideas! That makes every class interesting!

Message to students: English is only fun if you use it! You can use the English you learn to have conversations with new people and understand popular songs and TV shows. So, don’t be shy! Be a fun person by practicing your English!
